Would anyone have an opinion on this instrument?

I have two of these, one of which I've finished restoring and the other which I'm working on. The first Edgware I have is wood and was made in 1957, the second is hard rubber and was made in 1954. I can only speak of the wooden one so far, but it is a very well made instrument and plays quite well. I've brought it to orchestra rehearsal a couple of times, and the intonation is better than I expected. Being a large-bore English clarinet, it has that sort of diffuse, flexible sound the English players seem to get. I like it a lot. Don't know yet about the hard rubber 1957 Edgware, but it appears to be essentially identical in all respects except, of course, the material. By the way, these clarinets are for sale (see the Classifieds).
