 Duets with brass?
Author: Bridget

Has anyone ever heard of a clarinet/euphonium duet? Odd combo, I know, but my friend and I are interested in trying it out...if we could only find something to play!

Bridget: May I suggest tring some OLD marches, such as Karl King, Henry Fillmore, Alexander and the like. Clarinet plays solo cornet line and the Eupher plays Baritone line. Many of the recent arrangements do not employ the CM of the original arrangements. This can get you started. Why not score a few duets yourselves? Have fun and kee on playing!!!!!

Look for clarinet/bassoon- I think a euphonium can play bassoon music (can anyone confirm?). There's the R. Strauss Duet-Concertino for clarinet, bassoon and piano.
