Hey !
I have my college audition for Fredonia mid November. It says " One concerto with contrasting movements " ( fast/slow) - Can I play Mozart Concerto for Clarinet - movement 1 and moventment 2 ? Is that what they mean or ? Help !

Laur,
Generally what they want to hear is two contrasting styles, whether they be from the same composition or not. If you don't want to play too much Mozart you can call the school of music's admissions office for a clarification. For my next audition (return to school after many years off) I am playing the cadenza from the Copeland, and the slow mvt from Mozart. I love to play Mozart but it is soooooooooo hard and soooooooooooo subjective. Good luck!
