To anyone interested:
I have recently finished transcriptions for clarinet of Brahms Violin Sonata no. 2, op. 100, and Brahms Violin Sonata no. 3, op. 108. The second sonata was done in collaboration with my friend and composer Thomas Walz, who patiently copied it out for me on Sibelius. Both sonatas require the use of both B flat and A clarinets, according to the original key of each movement; this was done to facilitate performance. I have only transcribed the clarinet parts; any standard piano edition of the original violin sonatas may be used, since the original keys have been maintained. (The piano part I used to which the rehearsal numbers correspond is a Russian edition published in Moscow in 1977.)
I am happy to offer these two works free of charge to the clarinet community, with the hope that the addition to the repertory of these two great works may be of value to teachers and students, as well as to professionals. If you are interested in receiving a pdf copy of these two works, please email me at raffaello.orlando@gmail.com.
Incidentally, the first Brahms Violin Sonata, op. 78, was transcribed for B flat clarinet by Peter Goldberg and published as a separate work, complete with piano part, by Comus Edition, Cat. No. 059.

Hi Raffaello,
Maybe you can submit your transcriptions to IMSLP. That way the transcriptions will be available world-wide.
