 J. Gras Clarinet

Hi,

I have a J Gras clarinet with the marking "J Gras BL SGDG Paris"
The 'BL' could possibly be B♭?

From research I believe that J Gras was the maker and that they were established in the mid 1860's and continued in business until the 1920s with factories at Lille and Paris.

I think that due to its apparent age it must be made from grenadilla and be an early Boehm system.

Its been stored for the last 40 odd years so is in quite a poor condition with tarnished keys but no signs of any cracks.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about J Gras and whether the clarinet would have any value.

I attach a few photos.

Thanks for any help.
