I've read some about SMLs on this forum, but the information is a little confusing for me. I was able to gather there there are a few eras and qualities to their clarinets. I was wondering whether anybody knows anything about this particular one that's on sale?
If its a true pro model from a good era, it'd might be a good large bore horn to add to my collection at this price, especially because I know that this shop does great refurbish jobs.

Thanks!

At $425, it seems priced fairly, esp. if they do good job overhauling.
The problem is you would not know how it tunes unless you try it.

There is at least one other "vintage clarinet restorer" in USA who does sub-standard work so some caution is necessary, but if his overhauls and set up are good quality then these are quite nice prices for these instruments (I looked through the whole inventory, some worthy buys there I'd say).
