I am reviving this thread in the hope that someone can shed some light on this brand of metal clarinet.

A dear friend clarinetist, whom I now only see at an annual music festival, gifted me a "Symphony, made in USA" metal Bb clarinet this year. Found in Poland , it seems to have been used by a military formation ("AF" with a number added to the bell) and then a music school. For what appears to be a battered old instrument it sounds very good despite needing an overhaul and I am pleased to have it for camping and other outdoor stuff. It now resides in France; it's seen a lot and it's history must be interesting.

Can anyone provide a manufacturer's name ? Thank you !
