US Navy Band Clarinet Audition

The United States Navy Band announces an immediate vacancy for Bb Clarinet in the Concert and Ceremonial Band. Starting salary for a new member of the U.S. Navy Band is $73,056 - $78,096. Other benefits include 30 days paid leave annually, full medical coverage for members and their dependents, education tuition assistance, the G.I. Bill, and student loan repayment up $65,000. The audition will take place at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. on Monday, December 11, 2023. Applications must be submitted by Monday, November 27, 2023. There will be no mandatory pre-screening round for this audition, however, applicants can submit an audio recording to skip the preliminary round on December 11. Check the audition details for recording repertoire and guidelines. All eligible applicants who confirm attendance via email, will be placed on the audition list and will receive a designated report time one week prior to the audition. Applicants must be aged 18 to 41 and otherwise qualified for service in the U.S. Navy.
