I just wanted to say "Thanks" for a point you made in a previous post about thumb position. To paraphrase, I believe you said that the correct position for the thumb was in the middle of the nail/skin intersection. I've been trying to follow this advice for the last few weeks and it is helping immensely with the problem I was having with reaching the right hand alternate "B" fingering.

You are most welcome. Even many advanced students, let alone beginners, are unaware how much a small error in hand position can impact their playing.
