My friend, Suzanne, made a wonderful arrangement of Ellington's "Morning Glory." She arranged it for clarinet, trumpet, and bass. She plays all the clarinet parts beautifully. Her family plays the other parts.
This was submitted to The Seven Tones Project (you can look it up on YouTube or Facebook if you're so inclined.)
I provided the video/photography for the project, but wanted to share Suzanne's wonderful arranging/playing with you. Perhaps I'm biased, but I really enjoy how she put everything together.
I hope you enjoy it too,
Fuzzy

Funzy, Thank you so much for posting. I found the arrangement and the playing of it out of this world. Is the arrangement available? This reminds me of the Jimmy Hamilton clarinet Quartets I played with him long ago and that I've been trying in vain to get hold of for years and years.

PS: Please put it on the Facebook page of the Duke Ellington Society. It will interest many Ellingtonians. This page/society, by the way, is a huge success. It was established and is run by a French farmer!

Dear Fuzzy: I can't seem to find anything on Google about the "Seven Notes Project". Would you have a link? Thank you. If everything is as good as what you've posted, I'm more than interested.
