 Age of clarinet

Hey all! Hope everyone is keeping safe and sound.

A friend of mine whom I’m teaching as a beginner. His father has a vintage Evette clarinet serial number C 239 or G 239 kinda hard to read. Is it really as old as it appears on the “how old is my“ reference page? It has the look of a Full Boehm and plays surprisingly well even w old pads and tarnish. He got it or rather his father did back in the 1950s and the father seems to remember that it was new. Thanks for the help and thank you Mark or maintaining this database and the whole website. You are awesome.
