Hi,
I thought I don't have this issue anymore but when I practiced last night and the more I played, the itcher my nose tip was. I couldn't help but stop constantly scratching my nose tip.
I used to have this issue especially when the sound was just right (full of resonance) when I was in college. Anyone else having a similar issue? How do you overcome this?

Never happened to me.
Do you play with a mouthpiece pad? If you don't then get the thicker one 0.8mm, it helps a lot to absorb the resonance vibrations that are transmitted through your front teeth.

I am using the thinner (transparent) pad from Vandoren, not the thicker black one. I haven't thought about the vibration from mouthpiece, I will try a thicker pad and see if it helps.

It's weird, but something similar happens to me frequently.
When I'm working on something that requires that I use both hands, the side of my nose often starts itching.
Gotta laugh about that, it's so ridiculous, but it sure can be irritating at times.
