Any app easier than MobileSheets?

I don't need any bells and whistles. All I need is something to easily organize digital sheet music on my tablet and display it so that I can do basic markups as I play in a group (you know, like circling missed notes!).

I downloaded the free trial version of MobileSheets and, although it does what I want, it's way more app than I need. (I know that Forscore is the got-to for Apple devices; MobileSheets seems to be the best-put-together Android equivalent.)

Thoughts? I can mark up plain old pdfs, but can't organize them in any meaningful way on my tablet.
