Hi, this is my first post so pease be gentle. i have a Clarinet that was my fathers that I'm trying to value, i don't play and dont know anything about them. It has the following on it " CHJ PRESTIGE INSTRUMENTS" and also has the following number in places "C109157"
Ill try and add a couple of photos, hope some can advise me on this.

I found only one other hit for that manufacturer, a trumpet being sold on some type of U.K. website for 50 pounds.
I don’t believe that the instrument has any real monetary value.

The photos may help.
Also, if it is in somewhat playable condition (doesn't have to be in perfect condition), any professional or even semi-professional player may be able to at least evaluate the sound quality.
If your father played professionally there is a good chance of the clarinet to be a decent instrument, IMHO.
