We are now starting rehearsals for a performance of this 8 movement work and my orchestra has already acquired the music. Unfortunately the clarinet parts are not only difficult (typical Prokofiev chromatic writing) but they are very poorly printed/1st and 2nd clarinet parts crossing on the same staff/smudged ink/numerous cross-outs/ penciled inserts/etc... and the entire clarinet part is in C.
Would someone kindly check if the IMSLP part online is a transposed part for clarinet in Bb, and cleaner looking?
The work is available on IMSLP but it is not public domain in the US or the EU so I can not check.
Even better- would someone already have the transposed Bb part?

Is your orchestra a MOLA member (Major Orchestra Librarian's Association)? I'm sure someone has already done this.
I would ask myself but I am now retired from my librarian position and no longer a member.
Since Cinderella went back into copyright with GATT, these must be old Kalmus parts. The newer Schirmer parts are most likely in the correct key(s) but your orchestra probably wants to avoid the rental fee.

But because of copyright restrictions, we in the US are blocked from accessing those files.

Thanks to fellow clarinetists, the problem has now been solved.
Our orchestral clarinet section owes you a debt of gratitude.

Printing those parts in C is unexceptable because that publisher printed the parts from the score. That happened one year with the BSO,, all the parts were in C, including the bass. Fotunatly we always got parts available a little early so the section told the librarian to get a different published or rented set, which she did in time. We knew there was a better set because we had used them years prior. We never had that problem again.
