Hi all,
I've been helping my family clear out the garage, and came across an old clarinet that I was hoping someone might be able to shed a bit more light on.
The end says "CG Conn Ltd" and "Elkhart", but I haven't been able to find anything else.
I have attached some pictures for your reference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Look at the underside of the touchpieces on the left hand F#/C# and E/B levers. There could be a model number there.

Unfortunately no other markings to be found anywhere. I will definitely go to that website to do more research.

The serial Number should be right near the bell on the back, and is probably something between 240k to 310k.
As for the model, it's a model 514N.
I've held a 524N before (a 4-piece metal Conn, compared to 2 like yours) and it looked nicely made, but it wasn't currently playable.

The metal Conn and high-end Pan Americans can be lovely clarinets; I have the 4-piece Pan American 884N and it's a fine instrument.
Keywork can be on the soft side and easily bent--be sure to handle with care.
Hopefully you'll get this one made playable again, or sell/trade it to someone who will. These are too good to live forever in a closet or attic.
