Does anyone know the difference between a YAMAHA YCL-650 and a YAMAHA YCL-650EII? What does the EII designate?
Thanks!!!

When you google Yamaha YCL-650EII, all the pages that come up are European. Spanish or French for the most part. One page for Dawkes in the UK seemed to indicate it had a LH Eb key. So maybe that's the difference, and for some reason it's for Europe only.

Yes, I did the same thing and saw that all of the sites were in Europe. A friend found one for sale. The ad did indicate is has a left hand Ab/Eb key but I guess we're wondering if it's otherwise the same as a 650 but distributed in Europe?

I wish Yamaha would be consistent with models and availability on the planet Earth.
I'd really like to see a 650 pitched in A ... apparently they are/were available.
The 650, IMHO, is a winner. I love mine ...

I love my 650 as well. Great response and intonation plus the great natural finish/no stain!
