I have figured out these instruments, some wood, were made while Daniel Henkin had Conn from 1980-1985. What is the reputation of the Henkin clarinet? Re: sound quality, quality of construction, tuning, etc. Thanks you for responding!

I've had a plastic Henkin as a backup for years. Good solid keywork, plays and tunes well. Mine was a tad sharp, but changing to a Selmer HS* mouthpiece fixed that. They're available on EbBay for peanuts, and I'd consider one a good buy for what it is, a reliable student level clarinet that can play above that level.
