Hey, I'm new on this site. I was wondering if any clarinet player has performed a piece called the "Suite From the Polar Express" by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard. (not arranged by Jerry Brubaker), and if you enjoyed playing it. I've listened to the piece countless time, and have absolutely enjoyed it. I would love to perform it in an ensemble sometime.

I've performed the bass and 2nd parts (there are many tutti passages with 1st).
I've enjoyed performing it because the audience enjoys it considerably.
I hope the opportunity to perform it comes your way,
James

I've played a version for band arranged by Paul Lavender this past winter (first part only). I think the melody is very universal and is equally as nostalgic and enjoyable for the the musicians as the audience. Definitely would play it again if I got the chance.
