I just ordered one of their delux single clarinet bags, and I was sondering if theres arethe kind that you have to take your case out of the bag to get your clarinet out or if its the kind where you can open your case in the bag, oh and I was wondering what everyone else thinks of these bags. i just ordered one from intl musical suppliers like over a week ago and it still hasn't arrived!!!!!
by the way, their prices have gone up for the bag. it's like $100 now.

The woman on the phone didn't mention a price change and I already sent themthe check for 95.94 the 86.99 and the 8.95 for shipping. Will they still send me the bag if I I went by there most recent price online? Are you sure they changed it?

Altieri bags are designed to carry your case and allow you to open it without removing it from the bag. They are like a big zippered case cover--just unzip it and open your case.......and dazzel everyone with your clarinetistic virtuosity (like I always do). They are great case covers--I have two doubles and have no complaints, only compliments. Good Clarineting!!!!!

FWIW - the Altieri Bag is very nice, but to be honest the Olathe Bag is very, very similar. It will definitely keep your Clarinet warm in cold weather & provide necessary protection for your case all year 'round. Our family owns 2 Olathe Bags and 1 Altieri.
The Olathe Bag is $60. be advised that there are 2 different Olathe Bags --- 1 w/single zipper and you pull out the horn. the other Bag comes w/double zipper and open quite nicely to allow the horn parts to be withdrawn & assembled while the bag is unzipped (what a PITA to pull your case out every time you want to assemble your horn!)
Also, the DEG single zipper bag is OK, but the handles "fold up" too quickly and you have to pull the clarinet out of the bag to assemble.

Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. If you have a real problem with what you were charged (which may or may not be the correct price), talk to Lisa Argeris. If you <b>were</b> charged the right price at the same time Sara was undercharged, then Sara was just plain lucky. Getting mad about someone else's good fortune is self-defeating.

Yes International Music Suppliers, I was told by the woman who called me in response to my email, that the bag was 86.99 and shipping was 8.95, and if they changed that they are going to here from me, and I will just take my business elsewhere to the WW and BW, my second choice. And I buy alot of reeds and stuf from the IMS.
