I hope everyone is having a better day than I!
Today, I discovered that my Buffet Festival, purchased new from Wes Rice in October of 2015, developed a crack on the upper joint.ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ It reaches from the upper tenon, through the register vent and about an inch below the vent. Pictures are attached for your viewing.
If I'm not mistaken, Buffet has a 2 year warranty against cracks. Does this cover cracks such as this? How does one go about getting in touch with them for a claim?

I would contact the store where you purchased the instrument from. They will probably be able to help you far more than anyone on the internet can.

I had a crack in top joint a few months after the 2 year deadline had expired, and I was impressed with the way Buffet ( UK ) were very helpful and honoured it despite it strictly being over time.
I approached them via the dealer who had sold it to me. This was all about 8 years back.
Top marks to Buffet.

Go to Wes Rice for warranty service. I think they are replacing the cracked section now instead of repairing. I have repaired cracks for customers that didn't want to take a chance that a new upper joint would sound as good.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I will be sending the horn to Wes this week for repairs.
I was just curious about the warranty since I haven't been able to dig up much information about it. He tells me that he doesn't know much about the claims process, but he can surely find out if I choose to go that route.
