I'd like to give all my clarinet-playing friends a little gift - any ideas?
Should be about £5 (a little over $6 or a little under €6)
Many thanks, ho ho ho

Pawn shops usually have decrepit metal clarinets for not much over £5. They make really ugly lamps, and, being metal, will electrocute the owner at the slightest frayed wire. This will tend to eliminate the competition.
I have a big box of used reed you can have for even less than £5.
Ho ho nyuck.

I recently bought a load of microfiber clarinet pull-throughs on EBay for around $4 each, postage free from China. Good quality.

TW Howarth have a fair number of ideas - from badges, pencils etc to little teddy bear keyrings wearing T shirts that say Howarth. All available on line.
(Disclaimer - I have no association with Howarths other than as a customer although I may in the future).

Buffet-Crampon has, for many years, included a novelty doorstop with its clarinets that looks just like a mouthpiece.
These are often free for the asking if one checks around.

Those flavored reeds are terrible - they are not useful for making music.

Agreed regarding the Flavoreeds. They're essentially unplayable. Only give them as "gifts" to people you really do not care much about.

Hmmm... Well never get flavor reeds. i had one and my mouthpiece was sticky after i used it and my swab turned pink. I is almost impossible to know what he would like like ligatures or reeds but my recommendation would to get him a nice pencil that he could use to mark his music.
