Old english brass (latten) metal clarinet
Author: Claude

I know of someone who just bought a metal (brass, latten) clarinet made by William Card in London between 1845 and 1862. It is a Bb clarinet, Albert system. Key hole caps have a salt shovel shape.

Anyone who has information about this clarinet maker, seen any instrument of his making or read litterature about british clarinet makers of that era, please let me know through this news group. Thanks in advance.

Claude
