What work does a 30+ year old Yamaha need?

I just bought a Yamaha 62 II from the early '80s. It has not been played for years but appears to be in good shape and sounds fine to me, although I'm just starting on the clarinet so I'm not sure it it IS fine.

The seller mentioned that he oiled it (not sure what exactly he did). He did give me a small bottle of Roche Thomas Premium Bore Oil. The bottle is almost full and smells fresh.

I'm planning to take it in to a highly-regarded music store in Toronto specializing in woodwinds. What I'd like to know is what to ask them to do and how much should the work cost.

My teacher is away for the month teaching at a music camp so she can't help just now. I'll be getting a new mouthpiece and ligature as well.

Depending on how well maintained it was as well as how little or much it has been played. it could need anything from a basic check-up (oiling, check and adjust the mechanism, replacing the odd pad or key cork, etc.) to a general service (remove all the keys, clean-up, oil bore, polish plating, replacing what pads/key corks/tenon corks/springs need replacing) to a full overhaul/rebuild (complete strip-down, oil bore, refit keys, all new pads and key corks, all new tenon corks, etc).

You'll have to trust the advice of your repairer on this - they will assess what is best for it and should offer you several options instead of going in for the kill with a full service or overhaul if it may not need that, but neither should they only do the bare minimum if it needs a general service or a complete rebuild.

I won't say how long or how much those services cost as everyone works and charges differently. It would be wholly unfair if I said such-and-such is just a ten minute job and will only cost $5.00 at the most as that will only be a source of annoyance to quote that to a repairer. And never start a question with 'Can you just ...' - the J-word is the worst word in the world.

I'd suggest you take it to a woodwind specialist repairer (and a clarinet specialist at that) and not a company specialising in basic guitar repairs as they won't know how they're meant to be set up properly.
