I'm still in the hunt for an upgrade from my current Horn, which is a Normandy 4. At this point Ive been playing the Clarinet for 2 years after having played years ago and gave it up.
I am really enjoying playing and would like to treat myself to a better Instrument
I've got my eye on a used Buffet Crampon Bb Clarinet Evette Schaeffer K-Series "E 13.
I believe the bores on these 2 Instruments is the same size.
Its been totally refurbished and would go in the mid six Hundreds.
I would not have an opportunity to try before buying it
Any thought on this Instrument would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You!

At that price, it had better be a Master Model in really nice condition. insist on a trial period where you could return the instrument if you don't like it.
If in the market for a K-series E&S, I'd watch Craigslist and eBay for a good fixer-upper Master Model, then have a trusted technician set it up to my exact specifications. I could do that for under $600 total and have a clarinet configured just the way I like it, rather than the way someone else prefers.
If you haven't already noticed, the market is flooded with old wooden clarinets. Wait patiently and the right deal will come along.
