...What's the smallest foldable/portable music stand you know of that when taken apart, has its longest single segment being remarkably short in length? (15" or less ???)
yeah..lookin' to get it into in a gig bag in its entirety. Good quality would be nice, but right now, "short" is key.
Thanks

Some super short mic stands out there. And maybe there's a music stand "attachment" to the mic stand. I was looking into this for my iPad briefly.
I settled on a Desca Pro stand. Standard fold down size, but a nice neat package and stackable/easy to carry and use. Very sturdy too.

The K&M one in the above link is the same length as a standard (low C footjoint) flute case.
I have one of these music stands and it fits perfectly in the front compartment in my bari sax case (Yamaha YBS-62, with the dividers in the compartment removed), along with a flute on top of it (Yamaha 674) and still space for a Lawton mouthpiece box standing upright which I keep a box of reeds and a pot of cork grease in.
