I recently received a trial piece of 3M's (relatively) new flexible sanding paper.
It lasts longer, flexes, including around fingers, works wet or dry and feels like a cross between sand paper and etched glass.
Between (pinpoint) reed adjustment and clarinet repair, some of you might find benefit in its use.

According to the video, the finest grit they offer is 320, which I find too rough for precision reed work. I start with 400 and go to 600.

320 is good for scoring the inside surface of ligatures if there is a "slippage" issue. You're right, the 400 grit would be really handy.
