My pinch E is flat, I add the R Sk#1 when I can but is there a better fix? Raise the next pad below, raise or open up the next tone hole below or? Is there a tech book that covers tweaks like this? BTW the B a 12th above tunes fine.

I notice you're in or near Encinitas, which is where I live. If it's definitely an instrument problem, there's a very good repair tech in Point Loma who you could bring your instrument to. If you're interested in his contact info let me know.

Check the LH2 ring key pad opens by 2mm or more. If not, then the RH ring keys/ring key pad venting will need to be increased and then the LH2 ring key adjusted in accordance.
If that doesn't work to sharpen the E, then you'll need to take it to a clarinet specialist who does specialist tuning and voicing work as they should be able to modify the E/B tonehole to sharpen the E but keep the B where it is.

The clarinet expert you take it to for adjustment may consider undercutting the next lower open tone hole which will raise the pitch of the E but not hardly the B. It is a very common situation and I've done this many times with good results. The legendary Hans Moennig did this when tuning clarinets. Good luck!

Wes,
I'm sorry we are over 2,000 miles apart as I have the same small problem with my Yamaha CS Custom. I'd trust you to do a little undercutting, my friend. Too bad I can't just drop by!
While you would be working, I could play your bass sax a little bit then take you out of dinner.
Best,
HRL

Thanks for the advice all, I will try some cautious undercutting on my backup horn first.
