Hey all,
I found this awesome bass clarinet concerto by Josef Schelb and have had the solo part for a couple of years. Now I really want to play it for a concerto competition and cannot find a reduced piano score anywhere online (for prelims).
Has anyone ever seen a piano part for this concerto? It would mean the world to me to be able to play it for this competition or on a recital.

There is a living relative to the composer that I talked to years ago. I'm not sure I have the email anymore but I will look. There is no published/known piano score.

Really cool that you were in contact with one of Schelb's relatives! I would very much appreciate that email if you have it (no rush).
That's a real shame about the piano score. I'd try to condense it myself, but that's a can of worms that I'd be afraid to open.

Update!
I can't seem to find the website that the relative used to maintain. Maybe it no longer exists. I have the email they used to use though and will send it through email to you if you want it.
His estate of works is kept at http://www.blb-karlsruhe.de/
I had dreams of making my own piano reduction at one point however the library with his works isn't in the U.S. so I was unable to obtain the orchestra score. Maybe you will have better luck.
EDIT: Website is here. Find the living relative under contact
http://www.josef-schelb.de/
If I remember correctly he speaks English.

Thank you for the information and speedy replies! I would love to have that email on record for future research if you don't mind.
