Greetings from New Zealand. I have a Buffet Crampon, made in Paris serial number 285027. I am trying to find the model. Anyone help? Thanks.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately I had already tried that site. On my version it lists the serial number and the year, (in my case 1986), but does not give the model.

If there is no model stamp on the top joint, then it's an R13 - all other Buffets are stamped on the top joint immediately below the Buffet logo according to what they are with the exception of the R13.

If it's plastic them it's a B12 - these are made for Buffet by Schreiber in Germany.
'B12' should be stamped on the top joint if it's from the '80s.
