Help me play in time

Hi all,

What is the value of crotchet equaling dotted crotchet = 94?

In order to improve my sight reading and aural appreciation I bought a couple of Cine Melodies book, where most of the songs are new to me and the tempi marked in dotted crotchet. The Cherub metronome that I use has no option to set in dotted crotchet.

One of the melodies was written in 6/8 and the tempo dotted crotchet=94. I know that 3 quivers in a beat of crotchet=94 is all fine. Is it correct?

Just put in crotchet equals 94 and subdivide to triplets
