Before negative comments about the archives begin, I have searched the archives for information on this topic. However, where there is information regarding auditions, none of it contains the age level of the applicant specifically. I would believe that this thread, then, could be more helpful to potential applicants than threads in the past. Interlochen itself states only that an applicant play an etude and a solo work, but makes no mention of recommended pieces. I have seen some information that suggests pieces along the lines of the Mozart Concerto. However, as in my personal circumstance, I can't believe that this piece would be appropriate for an 8th grade applying for admission for 9th grade. (Maybe I am wrong) Therefore, I would appreciate feed back as to what you think an appropriate etude and solo work might be for each grade of applicant (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th). Thank you for your time and suggestions.

Academy or camp?
Mozart would most certainly it would be appropriate for the Academy; it at least would be expected that the Mozart concerto had been studied and could be played at a reasonable level.
