Hi all,
It's been a hard few years for me. I think in another thread I told everyone I have a rare immune disorder. Well, it got real bad and scared my lungs. That and recurring bladder cancer did a number on me and now I do not have enough air to play my clarinet and saxes.
At first I refused to give up my instruments but i finally decided to sell them. With the sale of my yag 901 and my kessler soprano I bought a Yamaha EWI and a Vl 70m with the patchmanmusic.com special rom. I also bought a Yamaha motif rack xs with patchmans sound banks. I also just ordered a Yamaha Wx5. I will set one for clarinet and the other as an oboe
I am pretty proficient on it now and my trio is ready to play out again. Now that I started back in the technology part of music, I sold one of my guitars. An American hardtail strat. I have already upgraded part of my studio to a Presonus 24 track AI mixer/recorder.
I intend to sell everything else like my Patricola rosewood clarinet, my reedual, a bunch of rack echo's and compressors that I don't need anymore.
Enough for now. I just want everyone to know that music can help heal both THE BODY AND SOUL.

Seriously, congratulations on making the best of a difficult situation. I have been so glued into my instrumental routine over the years that I can't imagine life without a horn in the house. I'm sure your situation has been difficult and traumatic in ways you're not even hinting about. Again, congratulations, my hat's off to you. Hope I do as well as gracefully as you are, when or IF I need to.
