 choosing barrel size.

It seems, along with the choice of barrel types, we also have a choice of barrel size. I've seen several makes with sizes varying by a few millimeters and one brand, the Eddie Daniels, which simply sells three models without mention of size.
I play on an old Buffet Evette with a M14 mouthpiece and Rovner ligature. Sounds to me like I'm "in-tune". Would longer or shorter barrels change the tuning of my horn ? Any adivce and or suggestion would be appreciated.
