Try using the "one and one" Bb (5) fingering and trilling by releasing the thumb and lh forefinger enabling you to overblow the D (6).

btw, do you play with the Pompano Beach City Band? If so, I may see you in April. When we visit our time share in Pompano, I like to sit in on clarinet with the band.

Play it as you would the low register Eb/G tremolo, but add the register key. That is, play the Bb with the thumb, register key, left index and middle fingers plus the left ring finger sliver key, and tremolo with your thumb and 3 fingers (overblowing open G for the D).
