I looked around and could not find where the music is available except for an incomplete manuscript at a Philidalphia library. Do you know of any other source?

I heard it on xm radio, channel 76, last night. Robert A. Davis talked about Fry as introduction. I suggest you contact him, a guru on musicology if there ever was one. This piece has some of the most remarkable clarinet solos I have heard in one piece. XM announcers, such as Robert, can be reached by email through their intenent sites.

Has anyone played this piece? I'll be playing it for our holiday concerts (rehearsals starts tonight for this program). I've been told there is a soprano sax part. Since I usually cover the utility parts (and don't have a soprano sax), I'm wondering if Bb or Eb clarinet would be a better choice to cover the part (since I'm also playing bass clarinet on this program, I'm not lugging an alto sax, too). I know soprano sax is in Bb, but I'm wondering what would be a better fit both in terms of range and timbre.
Thanks!
