Greetings,
I've recently chanced upon two Clarinets (both Buffet).
One is a RC model (with glossy metal tenon ring and on the bell there is no metal ring on the wide end of the bell) which is mentioned to be of Hz 442. It had a prefix F before the serial number thus I guessed it is made for the European market, tuned Hz 442. (Do correct me if I'm wrong about it) I was made known it is around the 1980s model of RC.
Another model is the 1970s R13 model. The Golden Era of Clarinets. (5/6 years of usage)
Both seem to be in good condition (I couldn't test it as both are overseas instruments so I could only know the actual after receiving it) as mentioned.
Would kindly like to know if anyone have any idea/information on the unusual RC model with glossy metal tenon ring as thus far I've only seen RC model with the normal Buffet tenon ring structure. Any informations would be greatly appreciated!
Secondly, are there any recommendation on which of the above I should purchase for my music performance studies? I've tried both the RC and R13 models before and would like to kindly know which would be much more recommended for music majors for long term usage in recitals/performances/chambers/solos and et cetera.
Thank you very much and Have a nice day ahead!

It just depends on which one you prefer after testing it out during the trial period. They are both great instruments and have been used to great success with players.
