Dear All,
I'm due to be playing 1st clarinet on this piece in a concert next weekend - the part was to be delivered to me but they've been delivered to my neighbour's house by mistake. This neighbour has just moved to Australia and so the part sits staring at me from their doormat!
Does anybody have a copy of this part that I can get hold of please?

Why can't you get the postman to bring it to you the when he delivers tomorrow's mail - or if the doormat is accessible, why can't you get it yourself if the former neighbor isn't there?
If the band librarian is the cautious sort, he mailed you a photocopy and can maybe scan and email you another copy from the original.

The librarian didn't want to mail the parts - so the second clarinet player hand delivered them (the originals).
The only people who can now access the parts are the owners of the house.

Well, I guess the librarian turned out to be right.
