Hello all. I just got done playing a concert with the Seattle symphony and the principle player was using a wojtek komsta barrel. He said it really adds density to your sound and really improved it. Anybody know where I could go about finding one? I googled it but couldnt find it.

Wojtek is a technician in the NJ/NY area. He also does alterations to clarinets (bores, barrels, etc.) that seem unconventional, and I've even come across a local shop that won't work on instruments he's done voicing work to. While I don't use his services, I have a colleague who's worked with him. There are a lot of great barrel makers out there as well, so there are plenty of options available to find the sound you describe and use online stores/trial policies to find the right barrel.
