Don't know if this is "kosher" on this BBoard, but I'm on a business trip in Baltimore this weekend and stumbled on this advert for an antique clarinet on the local Craigslist: <washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/msg/3621650775.html>
I don't any more about it but thought I'd post it here in case anyone might be interested in helping it find a good home.

Interesting, but really only useful as a decorative piece in it's current condition. Judging from the photos it is missing a key (and the accompanying tonehole has been plugged) and there is clearly a very severe crack in the upper joint that may or may need attention even if previously repaired. To be honest I think you could find one in much nicer condition for around the same price pretty easily. At any given time there are probably a dozen or so of these old boxwood clarinets for sale on the auction site so I don't think they are quite as rare or as in demand as some people think.

I recently bought a similar instrument (in slightly worse condition) for $85. I think $750 is way too much to ask.
