I just won an ebay auction for an A clarinet. My question is now what? Do I just practice it using my lesson books for my Bb clarinet, or do they make books especially for instruments of other keys?

YES, i was wondering the same thing as the A Clarinets are in abundance.

There are several concertos that you can play on the A clarinet. You can also get a book of orchestral excerpts that you can play A on. As I am kind of unfamiliar with Ebay, what kind of clarinet did you get? To get the feel of the horn there is no reason you cannot play etudes or something like that on it.

Basically the A and Bb clarinets can be considered "companions." While there are cases where one is chosen over the other for the slightly different tone color, the A is generally chosen to facilitate playing in concert keys of many sharps while the Bb is chosen to facilitate playing in concert keys of many flats. In an orchestral setting, the A clarinet becomes fairly common as keys with sharps as "friendlier" to string instruments than keys with sharps so a lot of the music is written with the strings in mind.
As far as practicing the A clarinet, any of the study material for a Bb is suitable. However, if you are going to play along with recordings, make sure that the music you are playing from is in the proper key to match the recording.
The Mozart clarinet concerto was indeed written for an A clarinet BUT a rather special A clarinet, one with an extension to the printed C below middle C.
