Goody. We'll get to hear Ted Oien, my favorite orchestral player, do the nightingale solo. There's lots of BC work in both pieces. Does anyone know Shannon Orme, the DSO bass player?

wonderful to hear many recordings of it for phrasing, etc. Gigliotti is one of my favorites in this one.

I have the Mclane cd--unbelievable. He was Toscanini's favorite clarinetist.

My favorite is my teacher, Harold Wright's recording of the Pines of Rome (DG Ozawa). There is also a great recording of La Valse also on DG.

If you miss it today, the DSO site lists an on-demand repeat broadcast on September 7-9.

Hey Ken....
Would you post a link to the page that tells the dates of the ON DEMAND repeat broadcasts? I can't find it.
Thanks,
Alex

Alex -
The September rebroadcast information was on the webcast page. It seems to have gone away when the webcast was over.
