When I look my clarinets serial number up on the Buffet website it not only gives the year of manufacture but also BC****.AGlm.
What do these mean and what does the letters refer to?

I've-emailed Buffet multiple times inquiring about my Bb R13, but no response. When I put the serial number into their site, it spits back out "BCF1131.NI". I know what most of it means, but what does the F mean? I thought that if it was pitched at 442, the F would be in the serial number. Is there a chance my clarinet is pitched at 442 instead of 440?
