Hi, I need to play for a wedding for my former clarinet teacher and I am kind of out of ideas. I need to be playing for around 5 minutes and he didn't give me any kind of suggestions to what I should prepare. What kind of piece would be fitting for this sort of wedding?

Depends a bit what kind of wedding it is and at what point you will be playing.
But how about the first movement of the Saint-Saens sonata if you want something gentle and romantic or the third movement of the Brahms no.1 sonata might be quite good for something slightly more lively.

My suggestion (mood wise) would be to stick with stuff that is somewhat 'low key.' Remember, this is all just 'pre-music.' NOTHING is supposed to upstage the bride!

I've used the middle movement of the Weber 1st concerto as a wedding prelude. A bit dramatic perhaps, but it served its purpose.
