In a Ridenour I found for cheap, the first half was great, but the second half of the body had cracked around its second finger-hole from the screw to its left all the way around until it nearly reached the hole again. If possible, I would like to salvage this instrument without having to buy a new half. I will probably have to send it out to get fixed, but is there any way that I can glue/melt/etc. the cracked part back together?

By far the best person to contact would be Tom Ridenour. Googe Ridenour clarinets and send him an email. I've never had dealings with him myself, but I'm told that he's very approachable.
