 International vs. Elite Eaton
Author: Bill A.

Has anyone played/compared both Eaton models?
(ie: elite vs. International)

Is the International a unique instrument onto itself or merely a compromise for players who don't want to deal with the difficulties of a big bore (thus sacrificing flexibility simply for easier playability an no tonal rewards)?

Does anyone know how much smaller the International's bore actually is? Is the bore size the only difference?

I also hear Emma J. plays one. International or Elite? (maybe both - in later recordings she seems to have a more focused and articulate sound)

Thanks,

Bill A.

Dear Bill,
Try this Web site,www.eatonclarinets.co.uk or e-mail him directly at Peter@eatonclarinets.co.uk.
You make some assumptions about bore sizes that I am not sure I agree with, however I hope these addresses are of some use.
Chris.
