Dear forum!
I'd like to give a clarinet for my wife but I'm a bit confused about systems. Could someone help me identifying the system of this clarinet (attached pictures). Unfortunately I could not find any other clarinet which looks like this with three roller keys on the lower joint.
Thanks in advance.

Bloomin heck!
Now that's something i've never seen before- it's an Oehler/German system clarinet, but with a low E flat key (this is the extra key for the right hand little finger- the "extra roller" that makes it different from others you have seen). The Key on the bell is probably a "correction key" to raise the pitch of the lowest notes- is it operated by a right hand thumb key, or is it linked to the left hand thumb register key? If you showed us a photo of the underside of this clarinet (the side that would face toward a player) that would be very interesting.
What is the brand?
That's a really interesting clarinet you have found- if it's by a reputable instrument maker it could be very good, although your wife might find the extra keys make it a bit heavy (and/or she may want to learn the Boehm system)

Unfortunately I can't show more photos, I don't have it yet.
It is said to be made by Adler & Co. which seems to be still making clarinets.
My wife is german, so If it's Oehler system than it should be fine, just I would be happy to know exactly.

It's definitely an Oehler system built to low Eb - there are some makers that supply a low Eb barrel that fits between the lower joint and bell and operated by the thumb key, but this one has the low Eb touchpiece for the RH little finger like full Boehm systems and Boehm system alto and bass clarinets (only German basses generally have the low Eb touch for the right thumb along with the low D, Cb and C keys).
I've even seen a Selmer Albert system built to low Eb on you-know-where.

Thank you for your replies!
Yes it looked to me, because of the places of the keys, as if it was some kind of Boehm system on the lower joint.
I have no information about the mouthpiece at all.
I asked moening-adler too, if they reply I'll post it here.

Were these "low Eb" horns made for players who transpose everything on their Bbs?
