Stopped by the JW Pepper booth where they have curtosey email, etc to get off my already tired feet. I've already visited with C.Fobes, C.Bay, and off to find Ridenour in a few minutes. Played the Patricola C clarinet and think it to be an okay instrument, but I really don't have a use for one....just having fun. You folks take care and I'll catch up with you later tonight. I'm only up for the day.

Mark,
It's still going on...Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m and Saturday from 10:00 to 3:00 p.m. for the convention floor exhibits. With concerts during the evenings. I got dog tired today trying to see everyone. I got back in at 8:30 p.m. It's a three hour drive from my place to San Antonio. I had a great time....just wish I could have spent more time there.

J. Butler and all:
I just got home also from the TMEA in San Antonio. If you live in Texas (or any where else, for that matter) come visit the TMEA during 2nd week in Feb. in Texas and you will have the time of your life!!! Lots of good people to talk music with and plenty of clarinet, etc. exhibits and knowlegeable people who will be happy to talk shop with you and show all the latest gimmicks, reeds, etc. Lots of good bands, orchestras, choirs, speciality groups, etc. to listen to, group discussions, clinics, etc. If you do plan to come make reservations EARLY as it is the same week as the Fat Stock Show and rooms are at a premium. In July we have the TBA (Texas Bandmasters Assn) convention during the third (?) week of July with a similar format dedicated to band music. It is outstanding also. Hope to see you in Texas in July or next year in Feb.
