Just wanted to let the Bboard know- my metronome app for iphone and ipod touch is on sale and is free through Labor Day.
You can get it in itunes here:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/metronome-plus/id434136233?mt=8
The sale has already started so get it free while you can! Also, the next update will allow the app to work natively on both the iPhone and iPad so iPad people should also take advantage of the sale.
Thanks!
Joe

Thanks David! Hopefully quite a few Bboarders were able to take advantage of the sale!

Joseph - I also like your app and it works very well. In another place someone suggested you have a time signature available for 1/4 which would give just a simple pulse without a measure beginning sound - which is the way I usually work with a metronome. Even though it is possible to make it happen another way in your app, it might be good to have a 1/4 time signature.

John,
Yeah that's totally on my radar. I do plan on adding that time signature along with some multimeters. To do that we are going to have to change the menu slightly and place the meter options on a scrolling panel to fit them all in there with out expanding the menu in a strange way.
Alternatively, we are also going to add an advanced setting page where you can enable all accents by default rather than have them at the first beat of the measure.
Hope to get those updates out the door in the next few months. Next update for the app is going to be a universal binary that is optimized for both the phone and the ipad(a strange as is seems- I think about 25% of my users are already using it on the ipad). After that I've got some interesting ideas for different metronome 'modes'...can't say much more than that for now...
So for now the best way to do it is just to select all of the accents, or set it to 3/8(unless you like to keep subdivisions on).
Thanks for the feedback!
-Joe
