Hello I have a Vito France made clarinet. I had no idea Vito made a wood model.
The serial number on it is B83401, if anyone can help me get more info on this clarinet it would be greatly appreciated. I would need to know about how much it is worth and about how old it is... thanx sooooo much.

The Vito horns are made by LeBlanc. You might check their website at http://www.gleblanc.com

The Vito France is indeed a wooden instrument. It is listed in Leblanc's catalog but that catalog does not include prices. Per the catalog it is a mid-line student clarinet and is a small bore instrument. The bore sixe is listed as 0.575" This is the same size bore used in Leblanc's Opus, Concerto, Esprit and Infinite models.

VITO France is the same as Normandy. They appear to have marketed the same model as Normandy in the UK and here in Australia but as VITO France in America. I have repaired a few and they are the same horn.

I thought the Normandy had a .584 bore...not .575 so there may be a difference aside from key mechanisms.

John is correct. The Normandy has a 0.584 bore so it is NOT possible for the Vito France to be the same instrument.
